She is known as the “Princess of the Streets”, and she had worked as an HR specialist for many years in an international company. She dreams of living a glitzy lifestyle. And she yearns to marry a rich man. She can be a little vain, but she’s kind-hearted to her neighbors.

Qu Xiaoxiao, a 25-year-old woman who was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Nowadays, she owns a small business. She’s an honest person with a sharp tongue.

Qiu Yingying, a 20-year-old girl who hails from a small town. Now in the big city, she fell in love with a man who happens to be a financial executive in her company. Once her office romance came to light, Qiu faced tension in the workplace and lost her job.

Guan Juer, a 20-year-old girl from an academic family. She's a quiet, introverted person who lives life as planned by her parents. Entering the workplace and meeting new people makes her question her identity and what kind of life she wants for herself.

Except the five women, there are also some handsome men who are trying to get the attention of these girls.

The drama is a reflection of us who left home to live and work in big cities. Most of us can find the shadow of us from the five roles. So it has been a hit drama recently. I was attracted by it and even stayed up till midnight at about 2:00am.

Last night I finished watching the last episode of this drama which I had been following for about 1 week, but the story of the five girls not over yet, the writer left us a lot of imagination space for the second season.

On the first day, I went to the animation museum with the two daughters of the landlord. Because the oldest daughter planned to play with her classmates, I needed to look after the youngest one.

The ticket price for adults were 50 yuan and 25 yuan for children. As it was a very hot day, after we bought the ticket, the only thing we wanted to do was reach the exhibition hall as soon as possible. When we got there, I thought only one word could describe the scenario at that time: people mountain people sea. We were not only shocked by the crowd but also the world of cartoon.
The memories came to my mind at that moment when I saw these cartoons like Big head Son and small head dad, Journey to the west and so on. After visiting the hall A we went to the hall B, there was no difference between the two halls, all had a huge crowd of people.

At about 1:30pm, we were so hungry, so we left the museum and went to the food area. The meals and snacks were so expensive on that day. For example, the corn which only costed 3 yuan in usual needed 15 yuan, Wow! After enjoying these delicious food, we were going to home, but it was not easy, we still needed to queue up for the bus for a long time since there were already so many people waiting there.

It was my first day of the holiday and my conclusion was that I had better stay at home on these kind of holidays later. On the left of the two days, I just stayed at home, watching variety shows, chatting with my landlord and her daughters, learning English and so on.

I haven’t touched Math for about 5 or 6 years, so I found I even forgot some simply functions. However, after given me some hints I still could solve the problems.

I like the younger daughter of the landlord, because she is very funny. On the night of April 2, suddenly there was a startling flash of bright lightening, and thunder rolled and boomed, and then the rain started to pour down till the next morning.

As the old saying goes: rain falls heavily as Qingming comes. I always cannot understand why our ancestors could be so smart to know these natural laws. Actually I like to stay at home on rainy days. I really enjoy the silent environment and listening to the sound of the rain.

There is one thing deserve to say. I tried the bone soup with lotus root which Della taught me and it was a successful attempt, because my boyfriend said it was good. Haha~~~

I arrived at her home at about 5pm. She and her newly-married husband were making dumplings. Before that Della had made the bone soup with lotus root, and she said that was a special soup of her hometown—Wuhan. I had never eaten that kind of soup before and I just want to say it was so delicious. Except these, they also prepared for some delicious dishes. In one word, they were so hospitable and we had a very nice dinner together.

Two activities really impressed me, which I will share with you now.
The first one: we were divided into several groups, and each group had seven numbers. The trainer gave each team a marshmallow, a string, some spaghetti and adhesive tape. The rule was to see what height could us to put the marshmallow in. In the end the height of us was 50cm, but according to the statistics, that was just an average height. What surprised us was that the children did the best with the height about 80cm. Children are always the most creative group, but for we adults, our creativities are killed by the life from day to day.

The second one: the trainer told us to design a product regarding taking photos that would meet the requirement for our partner. My partner Rechel and me had a crazy idea. We all know that girls like to take photos by themselves because they think it will make them more beautiful, but one problem is that we can not get the full body and even the background into the photos if we take them by ourselves. So our idea was to design a microcamera which could be installed in our mobile phone. If we needed to take selfie, the camera would come out, and at the same time the mobile phone would be a remote control and a mirror which could be used to see what we looked like in the camera. Was that crazy? Maybe someday in the future it will come true.

There already had 2 naughty boys in my class and today we got another one. My challenge really came. I download the cartoon called ‘A U’ to my ipad and I told my students only they learned carefully could I play the cartoon for them. Actually they were definitely so naughty that the class was full of noise. I only taught them five Chinese characters today because these characters was difficult than before and I needed to allocate my time to one more student.

I was so hungry and tired when I got home, so I took a rest with watching some variety shows and eating an apple. The weight loss show really impressed me, because the biggest loser lost 132 pounds. I could not believe he lost about one person and I really really admired him. How could he finish the arduous task.

After a busy morning, I prepared to have lunch, but someone told me suddenly that I should attend a webex meeting. My usual time for lunch was about half past 11am, but due to the meeting the time was delayed about one hour. When I went back to the office after the lunch, another busy half day began.

I thought I would not have so much work on Friday afternoon, and I could use the time to prepare the calligraphy class for tomorrow. The fact showed that I was wrong and it taught me that we should never put off what could be done today till tomorrow, because we could not predict what would happen tomorrow.

Today was also a special day which was named as Dragon Heads-raising Day. It was said that as the day approached, the land begun to awaken while the "Yang" air started to rise. Dragons were auspicious omens in Chinese folk legends and they dominated wind and rain. So people would hold a memorial ceremony for dragon through various ways, hitting the barbers' chair was one of these ways.

Actually I had nothing special to write today, because I was so busy and just stayed at the office and handle the issues all the day.

I had a case which was so complicated. It was transferred from this team to that team, and then escalated to the IT from low to high level. I was almost annoyed to death because this case has been pending for so long. After waiting for about 5 days, they just told me that due to code freeze, the case would still be pending until next Monday.

I thought it was all, but in the afternoon we were gathered together suddenly and enjoyed two beautiful and delicious cakes. After the happy time we went back to work. Just about half an hour later, each of us were given another gift-a box of chocolate. Wow, how special these surprises today!


Though it was raining heavily, I would still go to the hospital again.Finally I did not need to come back another day. The only thing that could make me crazy was that the real check time was less than 10minutes, but I had to wait for so long. Because I needed to go to the hospital this morning, I expedited my work and finished it within only 1 hour. The hospital was not so far from my work place, and it just took me 10 minutes to be there.But there were so many cars before the hospital gate, the traffic was really bad. I pushed the bike into the bicycle parking lots, and then walked towardthe hospital hall.

I saw the receptionist who received me yesterday. She told me definitely that doctors would be available today. But now she said that the specialists were fully booked, and I needed to come back tomorrow. At that moment, I realized that I must keep healthy in the future and would never to return to that place again. I really hated that kind of place!

第一段

1.must是助动词后面应该加动词原型，It must be xxx.


第二段

1.身体不舒服，don’t feel good/well,都是可以的。

但是feel good一般是表示自我感觉良好的意思，强调身体的话用feel well要更恰当一些。

2.看医生，没有特指哪个医生应该用see adoctor.

3.No doctor was available, 我多加了一个not，变成双重否定，录音的时候没有加。

4.Except 和except for的区别，都是表示除什么之外的意思。

Except 一般表示与主语是同类的：The office is open every day except Sundays.

Except for一般表示与主语不是同类的，指的是对某种基本情况进行具体的细节方面的修正：Your writing is good except for a few grammar mistakes.

急诊科和其他科是一类的，所以用except。

5.在含介词but的句型中,but前有do,则but后的不定式不能带to，

如：I have nothing to do but wait.

相反,but前若找不到do,则but后的不定式必定带to，

Because I did not feel good recently, I needed to see the doctor. But when I arrived at the big hospital, the receptionist told me no doctor was not available today except for the emergency department. I should came another day. I don’t understand why all the doctors were not there since it is a hospital, a big hospital. I must admitted that I was really so unlucky! And what I can do now is just pray for god to bless me!


My good friend Della is getting married in the first half of this year, she went to the downtown to choose her wedding dress, I wanted to go with her very much after I left the hospital, but it was so far to be there from my place, so I went home alone. Hope she will choose the most beautiful suitable one for herself.

I went out at 10:30am,and arrived at my destination at about 12:00am. The whole distance took me about one and half an hour.

When I got there, none of my students were there, because the class was due to start at 1:00pm, maybe I came a little early. I also did not see the teacher who teaches traditional Chinese Painting, she took a leave this weekend.

The students trickled in when I was waiting, finally all my students were there, and the class began. I only taught them 6 Chinese characters, but it took me 2 hours, teaching very young students is really not an easy job.

When I got up this morning, I felt it was very warm, and I guessed the temperature must be above 20 degrees centigrade, because I did not feel cold at all even though I only put on a T-shirt.

On the way to the work office, I noticed everyone hadn't put on a lot of clothes too, the breeze was very warm, the sun was very strong even though it was only morning time. Spring is really coming！
